The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the Lane Regional Air Protection Agency have continued an Air Quality Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM PST Thursday for the Central and Southern Willamette Valley. This include the cities of Salem, Eugene-Springfield, and areas located near those cities.

...HEAVY MOUNTAIN SNOW... .Several rounds of precipitation will move through the Inland NW starting in the Cascades by early Thursday afternoon and persist into the weekend. The Cascade crest and Idaho Panhandle will get hit with heavy snow accumulations. The first widespread valley snow is forecast as well with light to moderate accumulations.
