Local dense fog will impact the Wednesday morning commute across portions of northeastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle. Spotters have reported pockets of dense fog along sections of Highway 2 between Newport and Sandpoint, US 395 from Deer Park to Colville, and several secondary roadways. Motorists should be prepared for varying visibilities down to 1/8 mile in spots.
