For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. * WHERE...Oregon Lower Treasure Valley. * WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from noon MDT /11 AM PDT/ today to 7 PM MDT /6 PM PDT/ this evening. For the Wind Advisory, from 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ this evening to 6 AM MDT /5 AM PDT/ Sunday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and produce areas of blowing dust. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
